DMJM+HARRIS, in joint venture, was selected as one
of two teams to provide on-call architectural, engineering,
and construction management services for the Washington
Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). The team
supports the operational requirements of WMATA’s
Metrorail and Metrobus systems, and provides engineering
support for the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). We also
supply design services for any new construction beyond
the initial 106-mile system.
To date, more than 40 task orders across a wide range
of areas have been issued on this contract. Representative
projects include everything from final design and construction
support for the southeast bus garage to developing the
RFP to procure a mobile radio system. Some examples
