Small Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Program
New England Electric System

Since the New England Electric System Small Commercial and Industrial Program began in 1989, DMJM+HARRIS has provided program management for all labor-related services for several participating districts. Acting as an extension of the utilities, DMJM+HARRIS serves approximately 1,000 separate facilities annually in the Massachusetts Electric Company and Granite State Electric Company districts. We interact directly with the utilities’ customers, developing marketing strategies to promote program participation, conducting energy audits, and completing the sales cycle. All customer sectors with less than 100 kW demand are served, including retail, wholesale, service operations, manufacturing facilities, and municipal customers.

Once customers sign the program contracts for installation, DMJM+HARRIS assumes the function of construction manager. We direct numerous labor contractors and material vendors in the scheduling and completion of the efficiency projects. To date, DMJM+HARRIS has completed work valued at over $8,850,000 in energy audit, program management, and labor fees through this program.
