The New York City School Construction Authority (SCA) manages the design, construction, and renovation of some 70 schools in New York City. DMJM+HARRIS provides program management services for the SCA, and has managed major facilities renovation projects as both program/construction manager and as a turnkey design/builder.
In fulfilling these roles we provide virtually all necessary services, from programming and planning through project closeout. Working with the SCA’s team of project officers, DMJM+HARRIS manages the entire project life cycle for capital projects worth approximately $200 million (construction cost). Projects have included a variety of architectural and building system modernizations (such as upgrades to boiler plants, heating systems, and piping and temperature control), as well as exterior modifications (such as replacement of doors, windows, roofs, and brickwork).
